Currently we are open from 10:00 AM until noon on the 1st Saturday of each month.
And on the third Wednesday of each month from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
Hands of Hope (HoH) is a 501c3, volunteer food pantry that has been serving Decatur County and surrounding areas since 2021. As of February 2025, we have served well over 18,000 people.
We partner with Gleaners and Midwest food banks for most of our food.; additionally, we utilize other sources such as Rose Acre Farms and contributions from the public. We also interact with Bread of Life, Agape Center, Local Churches, and Celebrate Recovery to help those in need.
Until February 2023, we were a drive-thru pantry. As the number of people needing food increased, the Lord addressed that need with a new 1800 square foot building. We now have a walk-in pantry on the LifeLine Campus. This allows folks to choose only what they want.
If you would like to volunteer, contact the church or come an hour before we open. We really need help with the third Wednesday giveaway.
Here at LifeLine Wesleyan Church we have many opportunities for people to become involved in the work of the Kingdom . If you feel God has placed a calling on your life, you have a giftedness/talent/training or a strong interest in helping at LifeLine Wesleyan, we want to help facilitate your involvement. Thank you and God bless you!
